›Does Etsy label AI-generated listing images?
Etsy’s approach is policy-based rather than an automatic badge: sellers are required to disclose AI involvement in the listing. Removing metadata does not remove that obligation, it addresses privacy and mislabelling, not disclosure.
›Why does it matter that my listing photos have GPS?
Because most small sellers photograph products at home. The coordinates in those files identify a residential address, and they travel with the image anywhere it is reposted. Use the Everything mode to remove them.
›What about the digital files I sell?
Those carry your metadata straight to the buyer, including editing software, timestamps and sometimes location. Clean the deliverable, not just the preview.
