Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026.
This policy is short because there is very little to disclose. The tool does its work on your own device, so for the main thing people worry about, your images, there is no data for us to collect, store or lose.
Your images are never uploaded
All parsing and metadata removal happens in your browser, inside a Web Worker on your own machine. No image bytes are transmitted to us or to anyone else. There is no upload endpoint that could receive them.
You do not have to take this on trust. Disconnect from the network and the tool keeps working, because it never needed the network to function. That is the simplest verification available, and it is the reason the service worker exists.
Because the processing is local, we never see your photographs, your EXIF data, your GPS coordinates, your prompts or your file names. We cannot produce them if asked, because we never had them.
What we do collect
If you submit the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to Formspree, which forwards them to us by email. We use that only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share it.
Our host, Vercel, processes standard server request logs when you load a page. These typically include an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested and a user agent string. This is ordinary web infrastructure logging rather than anything we have added, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or third-party trackers.
The site stores one item in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme preference. That stays on your device, is never transmitted, and you can clear it with your browser's site data controls.
A service worker caches the pages and code so the tool works offline. It caches the application itself, never your images.
Third parties
Vercel hosts the site and serves it over their network. Formspree processes contact form submissions. Google Fonts serves the two typefaces used on the site. No other third party receives data from your use of this site.
Each of those operates under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.
Your rights
Since we hold almost nothing, most data requests have a short answer. If you have sent us a message through the contact form and want it deleted, ask and we will delete it.
If you are in the UK, EU or another region with statutory data rights, those rights apply, and the practical answer to most of them is that the data you are asking about was never collected.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. The tool requires no account and collects no personal data in normal use.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change with it. If a change ever meant we started collecting something we do not collect today, we would say so plainly rather than burying it.
Questions about this policy can go through the contact page.
